Perhaps our largest Artificial Grass transformation to date. We were tasked by Alan and his wife, to replace real turf, in the front and rear gardens along with laying artificial grass over a paved area which had seen better days. The choice to move to artificial grass was founded on it’s inherent low maintenance. It would also look healthy and vibrant throughout for years.

To begin with, we dug up and removed all of the old turf of the front and reat gardens, filling two skips, we then lay 2″ x 2″ timber surrounds which act as the parameter for the new artificial grass. Then came the sub bases for both areas, we laid 4.5 tons of MOT and 1.5 tons of sand for the front garden and 3.5 tons and 1 ton of sand for the rear garden; this was then all levelled using a whacker plate. We then moved the rolls of artificial grass in place and joined the two pieces expertly, with barely no visible evidence of a join. This transformation was completed over 5 days.
